Nicely made and super easy meals
Improvement: The positives first: The meals themselves are great, they taste fresh and nonsense-free, and are well cooked. They’re well packaged and it’s awesome not to have to grill or boil anything (like similar services that give you the raw ingredients and wish you good luck). However, For someone like me who isn’t trying specifically to lose weight from keto, the portion sizes are seriously minuscule. One of my bad habits I’m trying to correct is that I always forego actual meals out of pain/laziness, and even I, with my probably small stomach felt I had to go and eat an avocado after 3 of the meals (particularly the one with the huge flat and wide sauce container). I get what the hustle is here - your goal is probably to influence customers to focus on your snacks catalogue and/or upgrade to the 3 meal a day plan, but that’s a longterm investment that wouldn’t be worth it for me. A. I don’t eat breakfast (so i would end up using the breakfast to supplement lunch and dinner, which brings each lunch / dinner up from $15 a meal to even more), and B. I’m trying to properly eat full meals with no snacks in between, instead of living on nothing but random tomatoes and capsicums and whatever I could just eat instantly out of the fridge, rather than eat nothing that day). For occasional use, this service is great - as in the case of planning for a tough week with lots of uncertainty and so on. Knowing you can just stick a proper meal in the oven or microwave is worth a lot. I will most likely use it in future if I have something like that coming up. I’m not trying to bring the Karen vibes - as I said the meals themselves were great, but the principles of keto work without calorie deprivation (as long as one doesn’t go the other extreme and eat a whole pig wrapped in cheese). The fresh custom-made meals taste great and come packaged and labeled well. It’s great to come home from a long day and not have to fuss with meal prep.
I found the portion sizes small for the cost however, that is if one is trying not to supplement their meals with snacks in between
